About Rev. Dr. Patricia Keel
Reverend Dr. Patricia Keel is the Founding Minister of Unity of Berkeley. Unity is a growing community of creative and eclectic spiritual enthusiasts. Patricia pioneered the church in 2001, after her doctoral study of the great women mystics; in particular Hildegard von Bingen. Her intention was to create a Unity principled community that honored the creative artist in each person as well as the wisdom teachings of all the major world traditions.
In addition to being a Licensed Unity Teacher and Unity Minister, Patricia has been designing, facilitating and leading creative programs for over 150 New Thought churches since 1992. She specializes in the creation of 7-week spiritual growth programs, which integrate small group ministry and in-home gatherings into the context of a larger community Sunday service. Her work also includes creating and implementing annual pledge programs to create on-going financial stability for operating expenses in ministries. Recently she organized a successful capital campaign to raise over $1,000,000 in a ministry of 185 people.
Rev. Patricia has a Doctor of Ministry degree from Matthew Fox’s University of Creation Spirituality, now known as Wisdom University. Her doctoral project was based on bringing the Art as Meditation focus of Creation Spirituality into Unity churches with a dynamic 7 week program series called Living The Creative Life.
Patricia is a graduate of the Oneness University in India, level I and Level II and in January, 2010 was initiated as a Certified Oneness Trainer. She is offering The Oneness Awakening Courses and Initiations monthly. For information email her at patricia@onenessprogram.com
